Cattle Info

At Weldon Angus, our overall breeding strategy is to offer balanced performance.  Our bulls must be able to perform in dry ground range land conditions.  They must produce calves that are born without assistance, have vigor, and gain weight.  The same principles apply to our females.  And they must be fertile, maternal, and easy keeping.

After these performance based traits, our second priority is balance.  We believe that the demand for "quality" (verses quantity) will continue to increase as consumers will pay a premium for better beef consumption.  Therefore, an important part of our breeding strategy is to balance carcass traits into the performance requirements of the cattle.

For more detailed information on our cattle, please see the Bulls, Females, and Embryos pages.
